Music Production; Hands Off

In the music production lessons Julian focusses on the holistic approach of guiding the student so they take the path to learn, by doing and trying. Sometimes a part of this is showing a certain trick or technique (hands-on). But by vocally guiding you and suggesting things to try out, there is enough space to practice technique, and training the act of exploring and trying out.

Finalizing your track: Hands On

After making thousands of tracks and projects, I have the experience to make patterns fitting, make melodies flow, make rhythm groove a.k.a.; making songs work. Since I love working on tracks, and consider every new piece of music it is my pleasure to help craft ideas, or make them come to life faster. For this I work with a more hands-on approach. The tracks and ideas are still your idea, and I always stick closely to what you want to make. But by my experience I developed a great instinct and deep knowledge about music and how to make things work. So with this approach I work a bit more as a session producer and help to make and record elements that are of high end production level. The material stays yours, but you just get to your goal faster.

Music production is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor, and each aspiring producer has their own unique set of strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Tailoring lessons to an individual's specific needs and skill level allows for a more effective and efficient learning process.
