aest sonic studio is an Amsterdam-based sound design and music composition studio working across film, art and contemporary brand communication. The studio creates bespoke sonic work that strengthens narrative, emotion and spatial experience.

Sound is approached as a multidimensional medium, felt physically, spatially and subconsciously. We are drawn to projects where sound does not merely accompany the image, but reshapes how it is perceived.

Our practice combines intuition with method, bringing conceptual thinking together with a deep understanding of how sound behaves in physical spaces, on screen and within the listener. From intimate, minimal moments to large-scale cinematic and spatial productions, each project is treated with the same care and precision.

The result is work that feels grounded, tactile and quietly intense — sound that continues to resonate long after the image has faded.
